Talal Bijjani
Senior Partner
Talal Bijjani is a co-founding Partner and currently heads the corporate practice at the firm. Talal has more than 15 years of experience as a business and transactional lawyer. He has been acting for clients through out the region on negotiating and managing strategic sales. Talal specializes in the areas of banking and finance, capital markets, project finance, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, commercial and corporate law, and corporate structuring. He advises boards and senior management on corporate governance. Talal holds a Ph.D. in Law, LLM in Banking and Financial Law from Boston University and an Islamic Finance Certificate from Harvard Law School. He is also a law professor at a prominent university in Beirut.
Nayla Choucair Bijjani
Managing Partner
Nayla Choucair Bijjani is the Managing Partner of the firm. Nayla has been litigating high-value commercial and enforcement disputes for more than a decade, for plaintiffs and defendants, against private parties and governmental bodies. Nayla heads the litigation practice in the firm. Nayla specializes in acting for banks, asset based lenders and other financial institutions on asset recovery actions, obtaining freezing injunctions, search and seizure orders and other ancillary relief. Nayla also specializes in complex banking and investment disputes and claims on guarantees, indemnities and warranties. She has acted in numerous commercial litigation and arbitration matters including breach of warranty claims.
Anthony Kawerkian

Anthony Kawerkian is a Partner at the firm. He holds a LLB in law, a BA in banking and finance. Anthony is a member of the corporate department. He focuses his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, commercial and corporate law and corporate structuring.
